Limited Item Box: Numbered Limited-Edition Shirts
The Limited Item Box is the packaging for limited editions: shirts made in a fixed run, most carrying their own edition number, from FC Barcelona's collaboration editions to Robin van Persie's signed Manchester United editions of 250.
The Limited Item Box is the packaging for limited editions: shirts made in a fixed run, most carrying their own edition number. It is how the shirt reaches you, not an extra you add. What makes these pieces collectable is scarcity you can count, stated on the shirt's own paperwork.
FC Barcelona's collaboration editions are the clearest example. The Coldplay edition, released with Lamine Yamal's name for the band's Moon Music album, was made in a run of 1,899, the design Barcelona wore in the warm-up before El Clásico at the Santiago Bernabéu in October 2024. It comes with an FC Barcelona Store certificate carrying its own number. The Ed Sheeran edition carries Yamal's number 10, the shirt once worn at Barcelona by Johan Cruyff, Ronaldinho and Lionel Messi.
Some limited editions are signed as well as numbered. Robin van Persie's Manchester United white away shirt from 2014-15 belongs to an edition of only 250, signed by Van Persie in December 2014, the rarest of the three editions released.
Each shirt's own page states its edition number and how it can be checked. Below are the limited editions that arrive in a Limited Item Box: those available now, and those already sold. For signed shirts that arrive framed, see the Luxury Frame.
