Editorial reviews for every shirt

Because our shirts are unique, traditional product reviews are not very useful. A shirt will only be sold once, so a rating for that specific product does not help the next collector.

Instead, every shirt gets an editorial review written by us. In that review we explain what makes the shirt special, the context around the player, match or season, the condition of the shirt and signature, and what kind of authentication and proof is included.

These editorial reviews are written from a collector’s perspective. They are our honest view of why a shirt deserves a place in someone’s collection and what you should know before you buy.

Authentication and proof you can verify

Authenticity is non negotiable. Every signed or match worn shirt on Walkouts clearly states how it has been authenticated and what proof comes with it. Depending on the item, this can include a certificate of authenticity from a recognised third party authenticator, a hologram or serial number that can be checked online, and photo or video proof of the signing or the player wearing the shirt.

On the product pages you will always see the authenticator name and the type of proof that is included. Where possible we also link to an information page about that authenticator, so you can read more about how they work and why they are trusted in the market.

If a shirt cannot meet our standards on authenticity and proof, we do not list it.

Clear photos and honest descriptions

Every shirt on Walkouts is photographed and described by us. We show the signature clearly, any tags or authentication details and, where relevant, small imperfections or signs of use.

If there is a pull, mark or damage, it will be mentioned in the description. Collector pieces are rarely perfect, but surprises should never be part of the experience. What you see on the product page is what you receive at home.

If you want an extra photo or a close up of a detail, you can always contact us before you buy. We are happy to send additional images or answer specific questions about condition.

Shipping, packaging and support

Value can be lost when a signed shirt is folded badly or damaged in transit. That is why we pack every order with the mindset that it is going into our own collection.

Shirts are carefully folded, protected and boxed so they can handle international shipping. Orders are shipped with tracking, and where appropriate with insurance, so both you and we can follow the package.

If something does go wrong, communication is fast and personal. You speak directly to the team behind Walkouts, not a generic call centre.
